This past weekend, the HS Team held their Annual Kick Off weekend at Powderhorn and it was a smashing success. Everyone rode hard and was determined to get to the top of the mountain. Evening scavenger hunts and campfire chats renewed old and built new friendships. Thanks to all the team athletes for bringing great attitudes, smiles and their climbing legs. Extra special thanks to Fawn Lawrence, Marie McGowan and all the super-duper parent volunteers that made sure everything went well and everyone was fed!
Practices kick off this week with our annual time trial on Thursday the 10th. Practices will be Tues, Wed and Thurs evenings with races every other weekend starting Aug 26th. Races are not required, but fun and riding to the best of your abilities is. There's still plenty of room on the team if you want to get in on the action!
