Grand Valley Youth Cycling (GVYC) is a nonprofit youth sports organization dedicated to empowering young athletes through mountain biking. We provide coaching, mentorship, and competitive opportunities that promote skill development, confidence, and a lifelong love for cycling.
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the strategic and operational leader of GVYC, overseeing all aspects of program development, fundraising, community engagement, and organizational growth. This role requires a dynamic and passionate leader with strong nonprofit management skills, the ability to cultivate partnerships, and a deep understanding of youth development through sports.
The ED is responsible for financial oversight, staff and volunteer management, and ensuring the sustainability and expansion of GVYC’s mission. They will work closely with the Board of Directors, coaches, sponsors, and the local cycling community to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. The ideal candidate is an advocate for youth cycling, an effective communicator, and a visionary leader committed to making a lasting impact on young riders and the broader community.
