This program gives athletes an opportunity to push themselves and progress their trail fitness in a fun, supportive group setting.  Participants will also learn about many aspects of training, racing, and nutrition.

Additional Information for HS Spring Race Training

This Program is for High School aged riders looking to:

  • Build fitness for all disciplines of cycling with a focus on mtn bike racing.
  • A fun, supportive group setting to push themselves.
  • Work with experienced coaches to build sustainable and progressive workout plans.

PROGRAM INFO: Group rides and mountain bike coaching in a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment. This program is intended to push the fitness levels of participants through a variety of workouts led by experienced coaches.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: 

  • Working mountain bike in good condition required, front and rear suspension highly recommended
  • Helmets required at all times.
  • Hydration source (bottle or pack), comfortable and functional cycling clothing

GROUPS: Athletes are placed into groups of 6-8 riders with 1-2 coaches. Groups are formed based athlete age, ability, experience, social or family connections, group chemistry and many other factors.

LOCATIONS: Practices may meet at several different locations.   Workout locations will change and may include some road riding in nearby neighborhoods. Coaches will communicate locations and plans weekly.
