Coach Resources


Our coaches are committed to promote the sport and our love of mountain biking, and the benefits of mountain biking, as a healthy, low impact, outdoor recreational lifestyle. They provide training for our athletes and a welcoming environment to be a risk taker. When you participate in being a GVYC coach you are expected to also go through a series of training as defined below, and have a background check. If  you have any questions or would like to apply for a scholarship for the training please fill out the link below. 

For Middle school coaches, they are required to be a level one coach to sweep and Level 1 with CPR/ FIrst Aid or WFA training to be a lead. 

For High school coaches, they are required to be a level 1 with CPR/ FIrst Aid or WFA training as a sweep and level 2 as a lead.
